Meet Tom Woods, BA, MA, MDiv - Founder

Like you, author and substance abuse expert, Tom Woods has seen executives, management, and leadership struggle with workplace substance use disorder in numerous ways over the years.  He has heard many puzzling questions come from HR Professionals and management personnel, the most common of which are, “What do we do when we suspect an employee is using drugs or alcohol?”  “Doesn’t the EAP take care of this problem?”  “What happens when our employee returns to work after treatment?”

With over two decades of consulting, speaking, and most importantly, real-life, in-the-trenches experience as an active addict and now a person in recovery, his view is radically different.  Tom appreciates, and shares with listeners, compelling facts about substance use disorder and the disasters that arise in the workplace.  He offers solutions so that management can get back to the business of leading and making money.
